Ed Siebert
Attorney
Ed Siebert is an attorney with Lucas Law and Barrington Injury Attorneys who has practiced law for nearly two decades. He assists clients in Barrington and the surrounding suburbs with personal injury, estate planning, trust administration, probate, and real estate matters. His professional background also includes handling workers' compensation and Social Security Disability cases.
Ed first joined Lucas Law and Barrington Injury Attorneys in 2010. During a period away from the firm, he practiced independently and worked with a prominent Illinois law firm handling workers' compensation and Social Security Disability cases. He later returned to serve clients in the Barrington area, bringing the knowledge and experience he had gained throughout his career. His interest in helping people originally drew him to the legal profession, and representing individuals who have suffered injuries has become an important part of his work.
Ed understands that an injury can unexpectedly change a person's life, and he finds satisfaction in helping clients pursue compensation and work toward a new sense of normalcy. His previous experience in broadcasting and his work as an educator have shaped his approach to communicating with clients. He values listening to their concerns and helping them understand the legal matters they are facing.
Ed earned his Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2000 and his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in 2006. He was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 2007 and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 2008. Since 2011, Ed has also served as an adjunct professor of Paralegal Studies at Elgin Community College.
When he is not practicing law, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also co-hosts a baseball podcast with a longtime broadcasting partner. His personal interests include sports, music, movies, trivia, and history.
