Joseph Lucas

Joseph M. Lucas learned at a very young age how his father, an accountant, approached his clients in giving them advice regarding their businesses and personal life. Joseph's father stressed honesty, hard work, and quality of service. The clients stayed with his father and allowed his business to grow because he exhibited these qualities. Joseph's business has grown over the past 35 years because his clients also see these same qualities in my practice.
Raymond Kelsey
Attorney
After graduating from Loyola University Chicago Law School in 2013, Ray moved back home to begin his legal career in the winery studded Finger Lakes Region of Central New York. While working at Midey, Mirras & Ricci, and then Mashewske Law Office, Ray learned the skills necessary to become a successful litigator, representing clients in the areas of personal injury, contracts, and criminal law. A notable early success was Ray’s assistance in authoring the Motion to Suppress for The People of the State of New York v. Westcott, a controversial 4th Amendment Search & Seizure case.
Michael Lucas

After receiving his Bachelor's degree from Bentley University, Michael studied at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. He received his Juris Doctorate in May of 2023 and is currently licensed to practice law in Illinois.
Melissa Simpson
Administrative Paralegal
Melissa Simpson is our administrative paralegal. She attended Northern Illinois University, where she received a double major in marketing and finance. She has been a certified paralegal for over ten years. Her practice areas include estate planning, real estate, business law, and personal injury.
Kristen Landowski
Paralegal
Kristen Landowski is a paralegal primarily in the real estate area of Lucas Law. She had begun working for the Law Offices of Bonnie Spaccarelli Hannon, P.C. in 2007 and made the transition over to the new office when both practices merged in 2016. While working for Bonnie, her focuses were on real estate, estate planning, probate and guardianships. She is a graduate of Northern Michigan University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science/Pre-Law with minors in Criminal Justice and Art & Design. While at Northern Michigan University, Kristen was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society. She also completed her ABA approved Paralegal Certificate at William Rainey Harper College.
